If we are able to give the customer a quote for work, the quote will be relevant for one month from the date of the quote. If we are unable to give an accurate quote, an estimate will be given which is also valid for one month.
It is rare that we will ask for any payment up front unless the cost of the work to be carried out is greater than the worth of the item or machine.
All invoices must be paid on collection of the bike or the part and will usually be cash or credit card.
Regarding motorcycle sales, the customer will not be allowed to test ride the motorcycle unless they are covered by all legal aspects for riding on the road and we recieve the full cost of the machine prior to testing. If the motorcycle is damaged during the test, the money will not be refunded and the bike will be considered yours.
All bikes sales come with a thirty day warranty from the date of sale.
Long Projects/Recommissioning
Where a bike will need considerable long-term work such as full rebuilds or recommissioning, we accept that the cost of such would could be prohibitive. Therefore we have a different pricing system which does not consider the time of the work. Instead, we price the work on individual jobs which makes it easier for the customer.
We can only offer this system however if the customer is not in any rush as we will undertake the work between other jobs. This means we cannot give a time estimate but we will keep you updated now and then.
